Are you thinking about purchasing a mouse deterrent? In this article we are going to talk about different methods that will make the mice go away.
Those of you suffering from a mouse problem are most likely desperate to get them gone. Many times you will find food storage from mice in the oddest places. Shoes are one place that mice like to store their finds. Besides for the "treasures" they have collected you will also most likely find plenty of mouse droppings to go along with these. When you are tired of having these pests around I am sure you are looking for the best option that will make the mice go away. Let's now go on to talk about mouse deterrent.
If you do not want to use the traditional spring trap I really do not blame you. I remember those traps being behind the refrigerator or in other remote places of the house. I would make sure that I snuck by so that I didn't set the trap off. The sad thing is that half of the time even when the mouse took the goodies the trap didn't even go off. It could take days to catch the mouse and even then you had to carry out the corpse.
Before you do any kind of mice killing you should make sure that you find all of the ways that they are getting in. You can take mesh wire then and cover these areas. If you do not do this you are going to have another mouse to replace each of the ones that are in your house right now.
If you decide that you want to use mouse deterrent that is not a killing option but will just stop the mice from coming into your house or will drive them out you have a couple of different options.
One of the options is a device that you can plug into the wall. All you have to do is plug it in and then it will emit sound that is not pleasing to a mouse. This will make the mice leave your house. As long as you have this device on you will not have to worry about any other mice coming into the house either. Since the sound changes you are not going to have to worry about the mice adapting to the sound. They will continue to be uncomfortable.
You can also use peppermint by soaking cotton swabs and hiding them all over the infested area.
